Pedestal Music Video
I wrote “Pedestal” during the pandemic. It is about pain, sadness, uncertainty and finding the light at the end of the tunnel.
A huge thank you to the team, Brianne Chan, Shana Wolfe, Kyle Murdoch, Sanjot Gill and Bornallday for making this video come to life. Hope you enjoy!
‘WHAT I NEED’
This single was released on March 25, 2021 and was born out of working through my feelings of this tumultuous past year. The ebbs and flows of self-empowerment, choosing to rise above, feelings of loneliness, and of coming out of the 'dark' and into the 'light'.
I safely connected with local producer, JungoMadeIt, a classical and jazz trained musician, who saw and understood the sound and direction I wanted to achieve. Together, with my brother Noah and his collective, 'Born All Day', I found a safe space where I reconnected to myself and my sound.
This video was filmed by Sanjot Gill, Navi Kaler and Noah Boquist. Styled by Vanessa Stoian. Vocals and Lyrics by Bella Roces. Music and production by JungoMadeIt.
